EvenUp ("we," "our," or "the app") is a subscription management application designed to help users track their recurring payments. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data Collection and Storage

EvenUp is designed with a privacy-first approach:

• Local Storage Only: All subscription data, budget settings, currency preferences, and app settings are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. We do not transmit, collect, or store any of your personal or financial data on external servers.
• No Account Required: EvenUp does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.
• No Financial Data Access: We do not access your bank accounts, credit cards, or any financial institutions. All subscription information is manually entered by you.

Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be clear about what we do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Bank account or credit card numbers
• Social Security numbers or government IDs
• Location data
• Browsing history
• Contacts or phone data

Third-Party Services

EvenUp may use the following third-party services:

• Superwall: We use Superwall to manage in-app subscription offerings. Superwall may collect anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the app experience. Superwall's privacy policy can be found at superwall.com/privacy.
• Apple App Store: If you purchase a premium subscription through the App Store, Apple processes the transaction. Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions.

Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, etc.). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a strong passcode.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Clear All Data" option in the app's Settings screen. This permanently removes all subscription data, budget settings, and preferences from your device. You can also delete all app data by uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

EvenUp is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect any personal data, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
