By downloading, installing, or using EvenUp ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

EvenUp is a personal subscription management tool that allows users to:

• Manually track recurring subscription payments
• Set and monitor monthly budgets
• View spending insights and analytics
• Receive renewal reminders via local notifications

The App is designed as a personal organization tool and does not provide financial advice, access financial accounts, or process any financial transactions.

3. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the accuracy of all subscription data you enter into the App.
• You understand that the App relies on manually entered data and does not automatically sync with any financial institutions or subscription services.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and the data stored within the App.

4. Data and Privacy

5. In-App Purchases

EvenUp may offer premium features through in-app subscriptions. These purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. By making a purchase:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
• Refund requests must be directed to Apple through the App Store.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• The App is not a financial advisory service and should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of any calculations, projections, or insights displayed in the App, as they are based entirely on user-entered data.
• We are not responsible for any missed payments, overcharges, or financial losses resulting from reliance on the App.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EvenUp and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of EvenUp are the intellectual property of EvenUp and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device, which will also remove all locally stored data. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
